Join us for the 3rd annual K-9 5K, a dog and owner trail run, walk or jog. Our Dog 5K run or a 1 mile walk will raise money for a local pet organization. The race will start at 9am at Falmouth Academy. There will be T-Shirts for pre-registered participants and prizes for our top finishers. Dog 5K Race Details

• Preferred registration method is online at a discounted rate with free t-shirt (while supplies last)
• Parking, day of race registration and number pickup 7:30 – 8:30am at Falmouth Academy
• Start time 9:00 am
• Dogs must be a leash at all times (6 foot maximum – no extended retractable leashes)
• This is a trail run, therefore no strollers, wheelchairs or carriers allowed

Run or Walk with or without a Dog

3.1 Mile Dog 5K Trail Run

• Course signage including mile markers
• Exciting twists and turns
• Hazards include roots and rocks – use caution
• Portions of the trail narrow to one lane where passing will not be possible
• Water buckets along the route for the doggies
• Water stop for runners
• Start/Finish at Falmouth Academy

1 Mile Walk

• Mostly two lane easy dirt trail and pavement
• Water buckets along route for the doggies
• Very few hazards
• Start/Finish at Falmouth Academy

All the results for the 2012 CapeK9Cardio K-9 5K Trail Run will be available on our website or through Cool Running within 24 hours after the race.

Falmouth Track Club

The CapeK9Cardio K-9 5K (Trail Run, Walk or Jog) will be professionally timed by the Falmouth Track Club. Results will be published on Cool Running and New England Runner.
